About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Animation Intern to join our team and support our operations process. This internship is a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in commercial animation production. You will work closely with our director and contribute to various animation projects, from storyboarding and keyframing to coloring and compositing. The intern will also assist in organizing animation assets, researching creative ideas, and participating in brainstorming sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and maintain animation files and project assets.
Assist in storyboarding, keyframing, coloring, and compositing for commercial projects.
Work alongside the director, providing research and creative support for upcoming projects.
Brainstorm and develop ideas for new animation styles and industry trends.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project workflow.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a college or university program majoring in Animation, Film, Media Arts, or a related field.
Strong understanding of animation principles and production pipelines.
Experience with animation software such as Photoshop (PR), After Effects (AE), and/or 3D animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D).
A keen eye for commercial animation trends and industry developments.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
